After a life-threatening brain tumor and overwhelming debt forced former architect David Capablanca to reevaluate his life, he launched an all-consuming, grueling pursuit of trading mastery that included living out of his car and showering on Skid Row just to trade the pre-market sessions. Today, he is a successful short-selling master who builds his edge on rigorous fundamental research, risk management, and exposing small-cap pump-and-dump schemes to survive predatory market algorithms. In this conversation, David pulls back the curtain on his extreme journey from rock bottom, detailing how he reverse-engineered market manipulators' strategies, the anatomy of modern short squeezes, his strict stock checklists, and why protecting capital during the learning curve is the ultimate rule for survival. What People Are Saying
Episodes have gotten boring
I recommend the host focus on traders lives and experiences instead of constant general trading tips, so much talk about discipline/mental framework/mentorships instead of giving us stories to learn from like the old episodes. Get more into life stories and crazy trading events these people have gotten into punctuated ...
Read MoreInvaluable Resource for an Aspiring Trader
I’ve so far listened to the first 13 episodes of the show, but have already learned so much valuable information from seasoned traders. I began learning about trading last month, and one of the most value-packed of the learning resources I’ve found so far has been this podcast. Few other places seem to offer the kind o...
Read MoreGreat podcast. But Tessa has to
If it wasn’t for the fast forward button I would not be able to make it through this podcast. Tessa makes this almost unbearable to listen.
Interviews are great but the preamble at the start of each show is terrible
Move the female’s rambling monologue to the end of the show not the start. It’s turning a lot of people off because nothing is being said and it doesn’t make sense to reference a bunch of other episodes when we’re about to listen to an episode. Aside from that the questions and quality of guests are really good
Great podcast
One of the better podcasts about trading. They interview real traders with real ideas. I’ve learn a ton from listening to this podcast. The hosts are real traders with real interest in learning.

Crypto Traders
Your guys’ Pod is seriously the best! I have learned SOO much and my trading has improved drastically just from listening to your guests. You guys always seem to ask the questions that I want to hear and really get down to the nitty gritty! The one request that I do have is, maybe it’s possible to talk to some crypto t...
